Facebook tries to get over the Itunes and Spotify phenomena. Get with it on RC+N
Guys, recently when Facebook was asked if
they were launching a streaming app, Facebook denies the claims that it is
working on a streaming site to rival the likes of Apple and Spotify.
In
order to add up and monetize the official music videos, Facebook will
need a licence or agreement similar to the one YouTube has with various
labels.
Here's
the plan I know, well.. record label will choose the videos and Facebook will
share them and at the same time they'll share advertising revenue.
Sounds
cool, but another source says that Facebook confirms to sign the major share of
revenue to the record labels!
Weather
forecast, mates!! following the launch of Apple Music's streaming
service and Beats 1 radio this week, Facebook would be looking to launch a
similar, rival service.
It
already partners with Spotify, and it is one of the only major tech firms that
doesn't offer a bespoke music-based service.
During
a question and answer session earlier this week, Facebook founder Mark
Zuckerberg said he believes video will soon be even more important than
photos.
Hey,
this is a difficult "WHAT ARE THEY GONNA NAME IT?"
