Well I have a wi-fi connection in my house but when am out not 5 feet the signal is down to nothing. The signal is strong that's the reason why the phone stays connected. Then I will sit somewhere and do this:
Open Settings > Turn wi-fi off  > Turn Cellular data on.
At times doesn't it really suck. Guess what the IOS 9 is back with solution.
It has a new feature called wi-fi assist which automatically choose the most preferred network, with best strength.



And the best part is that, it raises our expectations towards the IOS 9..
